CFP: "Isaac Newton and his Reception"

March 15-18. 2012, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium.

In order to celebrate the Sarton Medal awarded to Niccolo Guicciardini (Bergamo) the department of philosophy and moral sciences at Ghent University is proud to host an International Conference on "Isaac Newton and his Reception." 

Keynote speakers: Dana Jalobeanu (Bucharest); Scott Mandelbrote (Cambridge).  

We welcome submissions of original research to be presented at the conference. Please send a 500 word abstract prepared for blind refereeing to Eric Schliesser .

Deadline for submission: 1 November 2011.
