DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
UNIVERSIDAD ALBERTO HURTADO, CHILE
The Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Santiago de Chile, invites applications for a permanent full-time position at the Department of Philosophy. The successful candidate must be able to carry out specialized research activities, collaborate with usual departmental service and teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Teaching load is 2 courses per semester (4 courses per year) beginning on March 1st, 2013.
- Ph.D in Philosophy.
- Area of Specialization (AOS): Philosophy of Mind, Epistemology or Philosophy of Language. Area of Competence (AOC): Open.
- Research Experience certified by specialized publications.
- Full competence in Spanish and English. The language of instruction is Spanish and the candidate will be expected to teach in that language from the beginning.
