The newly formed Centre for the Philosophy and Phenomenology of Religion, at the Australian Catholic University, promotes cutting-edge research into all aspects of Philosophy of Religion. The Centre’s research places special emphasis on the phenomenological study of religion as it has been pursued in European philosophy from Husserl and Heidegger to contemporary French phenomenology. However, other philosophical approaches, especially those that form part of the “analytic” tradition of philosophy, are also pursued by members of the Centre.
