The dichotomy between cognition and emotion is still intensely debated
across disciplines and highly relevant in metaethics as well as emotion
theory. On May 22-23, a seminar and workshop for Ph.D.-students held at
University of Southern Denmark will investigate the relationship between
emotions and moral intuitions and the connections of such mental states to
practical reason and the possibility of moral knowledge. Invited speakers
will be Raffaele Rodogno, Associate professor, Philosophy Department,
University of Aarhus and Sabine Roeser, Professor, Philosophy Departments,
TU Delft and University of Twente.
