EDITORSHIP: POSTGRADUATE JOURNAL OF AESTHETICS

The British Society of Aesthetics seeks to appoint a new editor for the Postgraduate Journal of Aesthetics. Applicants should be enrolled on a postgraduate research programme in philosophical aesthetics in the UK. The post is tenable for a minimum of two years, maximum of three, commencing in September 2012.

The successful candidate will shadow the current editor for the September 2012 issue, before taking over in full for the January 2013 issue. The journal is published online 3 times per year. For more information please see the following link: www.british-aesthetics.org/pja.aspx

Applications should consist of an academic CV, including details of past and current research and relevant employment history, if applicable, a covering letter not longer than 2 pages detailing the applicants suitability for the post and what they would bring to it, a sample of written work not greater than 4000 words, and two references (one of which should be by the candidate's supervisor). (Please ask your referees to email their references to the same e-mail address, by the same deadline.) Short-listed candidates will be notified by 13th April 2011. Interviews will take place, provisionally, on Friday 27th April 2011, probably in London.
