Post Description:

- Lecturing general philosophy courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conducting research for peer-reviewed publications.
- Supervising postgraduate research projects.
- Contributing to administration of the department and university.Requirements:* The successful applicant will be appointed at a rank commensurate with experience.

PROFESSOR:
- A Doctoral degree in Philosophy.
- Engagement in an ongoing research programme.
- A significant body of peer-reviewed publications in reputable presses.
- A very good national or international reputation.
- At least nine years' teaching .
- Clear evidence of leadership with regard to administration.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
- A Doctoral degree in Philosophy.
- Engagement in an ongoing research programme.
- Several peer-reviewed publications in reputable jounals and chapters in books printed by reputable presses.
- The development of a good national or international reputation.
- Four to eight year's teaching experience.
- Substantial administrative experience at both departmental and university levels.

SENIOR LECTURER:
- A Doctoral degree in Philosophy.
- Engagement in an ongoing research programme.
- Some peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
- A few years' teaching experience.
- Some departmental administrative experience.Recommendations:- Ability to lecture and to supervise postgraduate research topics in analytic-cognitive disciplines and in Continental philosophy.
